Bacon Salt Grilled or Roasted Asparagus
Everyone loves Bacon Wrapped Asparagus - we have the tasty shortcut!
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 3-4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Bacon Salt
- Black pepper to taste
- Chives or scallions (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Remove the tough bottom portions of the asparagus - just snap each spear and it should snap at ideal point.
- Preheat grill for high heat or oven to 425 degrees F.
- Coat the asparagus spears with olive oil. Season with Bacon Salt to taste
- Grill over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired tenderness, or cook in the oven in a baking pan for 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the asparagus.
- Top with chives or scallions (optional), fresh ground pepper and more Bacon Salt to taste if desired
