This is the simplest and I can't believe someone hasn't done it.
I came up with the idea when I got a fantastic homemade Pumpkin Bread this fall.
It is great on English Muffins, Homemade breads, Toast, Biscuits...use your imagination.
If you want to be really adventurouse...Melt some semi Sweet Chochlate and blend with the butter..
Ingredients
1 LB Bacon
1/2 Clarified Unsalted Butter
Bacon dirppings to taste
1 TBSP Real Maple Syrup
OPTION: 2 Tbsp Melted Semi Sweet Chocolate.
Directions
I cook up a pound of bacon, cool and crumble. Save some of the bacon drippings.
Clarify unsalted butter. Add the crumnled bacon and a bit of the bacon drippings and mix well. I also add about one TBSP of Maple Syrup.
Roll and chill.....use it on everything!!!!
