Bacon Butties with Baconnaise

After eating this sandwich, we would like to formally petition Parliament to replace ketchup or HP sauce as the condiment of choice for bacon butties. Vote "aye" for Baconnaise Butties!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 slices of thick bacon per sandwich

  • 2 slices of thick bread per person or 1 crusty roll per sandwich

  • Baconnaise to taste

  • Worcestershire sauce (optional)

  • Fresh ground black pepper (optional)


Directions
You can make this in a couple of ways.

The first is the "eat it fast" method, where you put the bacon, Baconnaise and worcestershire sauce in the sandwich... and Bob's your uncle (i.e. eat up).

The second is similar to a grilled cheese sandwich method where instead of the butter on the outside of the bread, you use Baconnaise, put the worcestershire on the inside with the bacon, and grill in a pan until toasty on each side. 

Either way is great! Enjoy.
