Bacon for Dessert (Baked Bacon Apples)

Yes, this is as simple as it sounds. Bacon salt, apples, and an oven or open fire. I've grilled these, and they came out really well.
Ingredients
3 apples, sliced 3/4 " thick
Bacon Salt
Cinnamon
Sugar
Directions
Place apples on a non-stick banking sheet. Sprinkle apple slices lightly with cinnamon and sugar, then liberally with your favorite flavor of bacon salt (I imagine applewood would be particularly nice, although I've not yet tried it.) Turn them over, and sprinkle the other side, if you'd like.
If grilling, place apples on the grill directly and cook for about a minute per side over direct heat, or until you get the desired doneness. I like mine to still be firm in the middle, but hot all the way through.
If baking, place baking sheet in oven at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until desired tenderness is reached. Serve with pork chops or with ice cream for dessert.
